Trek Day 01
You will meet an representative send by Bhutan Home Adventure they will assist you and trekking group assembles for briefing. Overnight in hotel
Trek Day 02
Drive up to drugyal dzong where the road ends and trek begin Follow the river gently up hill through a narrow agricultural valley, passing by village house. Camp just beyond the army post at the altitude of 2800m.
Trek Day 03
Shana Soi Thangkha- Jangothangkha( distance 19 km , times 5 hours) Continue up hill through river valley . it narrows & close in the trail winds along the drainage. The trek is mostly down hill. Camp is in a meadow with a stone shelter for a trekkers.
Trek Day 04
Soi Thankkha - Jangothangkha ( distance 19 km , times 5 hours) Continue up to pachhu (river) . Pass the small army post where the valley begins to widen again to offer views of high ridges and snow capped peaks. You may also see yak herder there. Camp beneath a ruined fortress at the base of Mount Jhomolhari at altitude of 4,040 m.
Trek Day 05
Jaigothang excursions 9 Trek up to Tshophu
For fishing or do any one of three hiking excursion . Mount Chomolhari and its subsidiary are due west , Mount Jichudrakeyis to the north and unclimbed summits and ridge are to the east.
Trek Day 06
Jaygothang- Lingshi (distance 19 km ,time about 5 hours) Wide yak pastures are visible both on the way up and down pass. You may encounter some nomads in their yak tents depending on the time of year you are there.. Great view of Lingshi dzong as you comes down into the basin of Lingshi. Tsherim Gyang & its descending glaciers are at north end of the valley. Camp inside the stone shelter or in tent at an altitude of of 4150m.
Trek Day 07
Lingshi Excursion (distance 15 km time: about 3 hours) On this day halt at lingshi for one dayb excursion to Tsokha, base camp of Jichu drake. Large herds of blue sheep and musk deer may be seen. Altitude 4500m.
Trek Day 08
Lingshe Shodu( distance 22 km time about 7 hours) The trail ascends up to the Yailila Pass,altitude of 4820 m. from the pass, Mount Jhomolhari, Tsherim Gang & Mount Masang gang can be seen on clears days. The descend camp in stone shelter or in tents at altitude of 3963.
Trek Day 09
Shodu - Barshong( Distance 13 km, time about 3 hours) Follow Thim Chhu through the forest with rhododhendron & waterfalls, the river then narrow and close in and the trail winds along with the drainage, ascending to the ruins of Barshong Dzong. Camp just below the ruined dzong in stone shelter at altitude of 3785m.
Trek Day 10
Barshong - Dolamkuencho( distance 11 km ,time 4 hours) Descending gradually to meet Thim Chhu , passing through forest of rhododhendrons and ascend once again into the pasture land . Camp just in meadow at altitude of 3628m.
Trek Day 11
Dolam Kuencho - Thimphu( distance 14km , time 4 hours) Continue up hill through the forest to small pass. The trails winds up and down along the drainage. Wild animals may be seen. At Dodhina , meet the transportation for drive to Thimphu. Overnight at Thimphu Hotel.
Trek Day 12
Morning drive and Transfer to Airport for departure.
