Day 01 - Arrival to Paro

Arrive Paro by Druk Air, the only national carrier. The flight offers you beautiful view of mountains and landscape. Upon arriving Paro Valley and after completing visa formalities, you will be met by Bhutan Home Adventure representative at the airport and drop to Hotel.

Day 02 - Paro Sightseeing

Paro (Altitude- 300ft) - Visit the northen part of Paro valley, the Impressive of Drugyal Dzong ruins (fortress of Victorious, which has been built by Drukpas, after the victory over Tibetans in the mid 0f 17th century. On clear day you can also view mount Jomolhari, the area just above 30 minutes drive from paro Town.

Day 03 - Paro to Thimphu

In the morning drive to Thimphu , Afternoon Sightseeing at Thimphu. Thimphu (Altitude -2300ft) - It is one of the modern capital of Bhutan, which lie at 2300 ft ,in a valley transferred by Wangchu river. Tashichoedzong is one of the main secretariat buildings. It is also the throne room of his majesty and summer resident of central monk body. Thimphu maintains a strong national charactering the architectural style and also for ideas spot for the walks. The main sacred places within Thimphu area are Phojoding monastery, four hours walk from Thimphu area. Tango & Chery Monastery are also main sacred places, at present it is a college of Buddhist monk.

Day 04 - Thimphu - Punakha - Wangduephodrang

In the Morning Drive to Wangduephodrang via Punakha. Visit Chimmi Lakhage on the way to Punakha town. Visit Punakha Dzong, which is located in between two rivers. In the afrernoon drive to Wangduephodrang. On arrivan at Wangdue, visit Wangduephodrang Dzong. Overnight at Kichu Resort in Wangdue.

Day 05 - Wangduephodrang - Trongsa - Bumthang

In the Morning drive to Trongsa, afternoon drive to Bumthang. Overnight at Karma Tobden Guest House.

Before arriving to Trongsa (when traveling from west to east) you are lucky to see the Chendebji Chhorten, similarly to Boudhnath in Nepal (Kathmandu) .Trongsa dzong is the largest court yard Dzong in Bhutan . It was mainly built for the protection of surrounding district and also served as district administrative and religious context. Our present royal line age begin in here, when the government Trongsa-penlop Sir Ugyen Wangchuk was appointed as 1st hereditary Monarchy. Today it was become a tradition, that the crown prince holds the tittle Trongsa Penlop, before his enthronement. Other interesting places are also there such as TA Dzong (scenic Tower) and Kuenga Rabten.

Day 06 - Bumthang Sightseeing

Bumthang Sightseeing. Overnight at Karma Tobden Guest House. To the east of Trongsa lies Bumthang Valley at altitude of 2600m. it has an individuality that charms it visitors and separate it from other regions. The valley is considered as most scared and religious region in Bhutan, where the most of the places were covered by temples, as such like, KurjeeLhakhang, JampaLhakhang, TamshingLhakhang, Chumey Handloom,. Further you can drive to Flaming Lake Mebartsho, where the scared religious Treasured discovered by Terton Pema Lingpa during 15th century.

Day 07 - Bumthang Sightseeing with Excursion to Ura Village

Bumthang Sightseeing with excursion to Ura village. Overnight at Karma Tobden Guest House.

Day 08 - Gangtey Gompa

Morning Drive to Gangtey Gompa, Afternoon Sightseeing. O/n Kichu Resort, Wangdue Gangtey Gompa is an institution for Buddhist studies for the monk. From the monastery , one can view the full scenic of Phojikha valley, where the habitual of black Necked Crane take place during winter., from migration of high altitude.

Day 09 - Gangtey - Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu and visiting Kabijisa local wood carving school, on the way you have an opportunity of visiting Parizampa Monastry then back to Hotel for rest.

Day 10 - Thimphu to Paro

After our breakfast, we will drive to Paro, with beautiful views of Thimphu river and the valley, also witness the beautiful Confluence (Chuzom) where the Paro river and Thimphu river meets and flows downstrem towards India. Latenight, rest at hotel in Paro.

Day 11 - Departure

After the breakfast drive to Paro Airport. Our representative from Bhutan Home Adventure will bid you farewel.
